The Elementos Calefactores AS greenhouses heating system is based on the same concept as our electric radiant floor, consisting of a heating cable place below the surface of the greenhouse, with the temperature controlled by a regulation and control box.

With our heating system, a constant temperature can be achieved across the whole surface of the greenhouse.

Our heating systems can also be applied in soil beds using our heating cables.

Using the Elementos Calefactores AS control and regulation systems, we can programme the indoor temperature , to avoid sudden changes brought on by the outdoor temperatures.

Heating cable

For greenhouses heating projects, we recommend constant power parallel heating cable, model CTCS.

The parallel heating cable has a constant lineal wattage even when it is cut to required length.

Its principal feature is the heating wire which is wound in a spiral around the parallel conductor, insulated from the conducting wire except at contact points set at one metre intervals, alternating between each of the active conductors. In this way, the heating cable forms a series of elements running in parallel all fed by the same power cable which acts as the body.

Heating mats

The Elementos Calefactores AS heating mats are the ideal solution for any situation requiring portable heating systems.

There are two models of heating mats:

• BS: Made from a mesh of high density polyethylene.
• BSA: Made from and insulated base with air pockets and double layer of aluminium on both sides.

Control and regulation

At Elementos Calefactores AS, we have different types of control and temperature regulating solutions, which are adaptable to all kinds of projects, and/or the needs of our customers.

Below are some of the control systems mentioned:

• DPA: Control and regulation box to connect between 1 and 4 circuits, from 8A to 63A at 230V.
• DR 4000: Digital Thermometer/Thermostat.
• ETV - 1991- P: DIN/Omega rail electronic modular analogue thermostat.
• ETN - 2P - 1441: DIN/Omega rail electronic modular analogue thermostat with mini-switchboard.
