The main purpose of the pipe tracing is to avoid and compensate for the loss of heat certain fluids undergo during particular production processes.

Of utmost importance is that the fluid or product flowing in the pipes does not freeze, change viscosity, or harm the piping network.

For sanitary hot water systems, our pipe tracing system avoids the cooling of the water, especially when it is not moving, avoiding the spread of Legionnaire disease.

The purpose of the cable running along the length of the pipes is to provide the necessary calorific energy to compensate for losses through the thermal insulation due to the differences between the desired temperature of the water and the minimum ambient temperature.

Heating cable

For pipe tracing projects we recommend constant power parallel heating cable, model CTCS.

The parallel heating cable has a constant lineal wattage even when it is cut to required length.

Its principal feature is the heating wire which is wound in a spiral around the parallel conductor, insulated from the conducting wire except at contact points set at one metre intervals, alternating between each of the active conductors. In this way, the heating cable forms a series of elements running in parallel all fed by the same power cable which acts as the body.

Control and regulation

• DPA: Control and regulation box to connect between 1 and 4 circuits, from 8A to 63A at 230V.
